When you’re away from home, what person, thing, or place do you miss the most?
Photographers, artists, poets: show us HOME.
As I have told in the previous post that I have a habit of carrying a lot stuff around in my bag, the part of home I will be missing would be that I can’t take my stuff out exclusively from my cupboards. Getting stuff out of a bag, and after a long search, is not what I would like and I would love to have my cupboard on-the-go with me, which I know is not possible.
Is it easy for you to ask for help when you need it, or do you prefer to rely only on yourself? Why?
This depends on the kind of help I require. If it is sort of a materialistic help, I wouldn’t usually go for it, for that I would rather be self sufficient. Materialistic help may range from an eraser up to money and I would rather afford all that of my own then depend on anyone. However, when it comes to help about the suggestion and ideas, my brain doors are always open, I let ideas Ctrl+C from my mind and Ctrl+V to another’s and definitely ask others for their suggestions and ideas, because in my opinion, everyone have a different point of view towards a particular problem, so it would be better to have everyone’s HELP, before I get onto something..
In the comedy “Groundhog Day” Bill Murray experienced the same day again and again, stuck in a time loop until he got the day “right.” What day would you choose to repeat until you got it right?
I wouldn’t want any day of my life to be repeated, because I have a reason to believe that if I can’t do it right for the first time, I will not be able to do it for the second time, besides, I will also forget the lesson I learnt from doing it wrong and yet learn a new ways to make mistake in that attempt. So I think life is best when left going on..!!
What’s the most surreal experience you’ve ever had?
Since I’ve had the most exhausting university routine today, and I also have in mind that things might just get worse from what it is right now, and it does sound like a boring ramble about how my routine life is starting to disturb my blogging routine, I have absolutely no surreal experience in my mind right now, and I really wish to step in one, where my day would have a little more time and I could cram in a few more things in it to get done with all the things I need to complete in a day rather than keeping them in my pending list. That is all for today, no more brains left, so I’d better call it a day and be off..
P.S I also have to participate in Weekly Photo Challenge and Weekly writing Challenge and I haven’t even started on it. I hope I’ll adjust in this routine soon.
Remember yesterday, when your home was on fire and you got to save five items? That means you left a lot of stuff behind. What are the things you wish you could have taken, but had to leave behind?
Now that I have gathered all the important things and me and my family are out of harms way, things which I have reluctantly left behind are start flooding my mind, my cosmetics, jewellery, important documents, all the certificates, the university mark sheets (The proof that I have studied for two years there and that I am continuing even now), My National ID card, hand-made decoration stuff which me and my sister made, our childhood albums and memories, the special gifts which our grandmother(maternal) left for us before her death, and for some unknown reason-The keys of all my bedroom cupboards and drawers which I keep safe and intact at all times.. These are the things which are also of the same importance to me and re-reading the above given list makes me realize that I have only left the furniture behind..!!! 😀
Your home is on fire. Grab five items (assume all people and animals are safe). What did you grab?
5 things to grab in that moment of panic would be:
1. My cellphone-Because at all times cell phone is one thing I wouldn’t want to lose especially when I know that it is the easiest way to contat others.
2. My wallet-Ofcourse some money at hand in a panicking crisis like this would be no less than an asset.
3. My backpack-I wouldn’t like to leave my backpack behind, as it contains some of my important university stuff.
Digital media, is a common form of media storage these days. Digital cameras is one of the biggest evolution we come across apart from digital news, games and music.. But today, for the first time in my life i realised the draw back of this so-called easy-going digital media.. I actually lost all my pictures which i too with my siblings a few years back along with all those cute photo shows we’d done in a retro style..!! This did not happen because we lost our CD’s.. NO!! Actually, a few months back one of our USB having some of our data and pics got hanged up, I tried a lot to get it repaired, but that did not happen, I let go of it, but the story doesn’t end here.. Today, when I tried searching my CD’s for my pictures, I found out that all those CD’s have turned useless and the files are either not opening or showing invalid data..!! This really frustrated me and my sister with whom I was working on all that lost stuff.. This truly made me realize that all this digital media can be only temporary.. I actually realized the importance of all that analog media, which is a little difficult, as you have to take the pictures and get them printed.. And as for the books, they are also difficult to search and keep.. But once you have the developed pictures and you are an organized person you can barely lose them, at least there no fear of pictures being hacked or attacked by any virus.. And as far as books are concerned I always find them best when in my hands, and not on any website or even downloaded(… IT JUST SO HAPPENS…).. I really think that we must realize the importance of what we had along with appreciating what we had because “OLD IS GOLD” really is a true quote..
