Daily Prompt: Bedtime Stories

What was your favorite book as a child? Did it influence the person you are now?

I never read much books as a child. A monthly children’s magazine in my native language was a routine, and it was really good.. But there is no such book which I could refer to as an influence on my childhood. I started reading at the age of 14, and it was a sweet valley novel, so it did not influence me much, and 14 is not being a child, so no book to be mentioned here, Na’ah..

Back to the Future.

Daily Prompt: Childhood Revisited

Sure, you turned out pretty good, but is there anything you wish had been different about your childhood? If you have kids, is there anything you wish were different for them?

ME AND MY SIBLINGS. (to extreme right is me ME, to my left are MY siblings)

To me, my childhood was just PERFECT,  I have had the best parents, best siblings, nothing to worry about and a happy-go-lucky life to move on with. Sure we didn’t have a car for sometime but those motorbike rides with my family were amazing and I can never forget them. Also that my childhood was a time when I was blessed with grandparents, though not all, but both my paternal and maternal grandmothers were there for us. The time the three of us (siblings) spent together playing either teacher-student (me being a teacher) or playing The Family was really really great. The best part was that we did not have too many cell-phones and computers, they were their but their use was not quite significant for us and therefore we had quite a time for each other and for our parents as well. And the last point which just struck my mind, all the homework in the world I had to do was spelling, and when worst of the worst came, I had to do colouring(I still find it tiring to do it in any graphs).

To cut the long story short, I would wish to back to my childhood rather than making any changes in it. No matter how old I get, Being a child was the best part of my life. 🙂
