6:00AM: the best hour of the day, or too close to your 3:00AM bedtime?
Photographers, artists, poets: show us DAWN.
To me, 6:00 am is a very good time, firstly, because these days it is in the range of the time for Fajr prayer, the best thing to start your day with, secondly, whenever I have woken up at six, I have had a highly productive day, because I would try to tackle some of my studies at that time, and would manage not just some, but quite a lot.
Also that this dawning time always provides the best refreshing air to me, so I find it extremely good. but the problem comes to the fact that I don’t usually have the energy to wake up at this time, but when I do it is very good. And last of all, it is the time I am usually having the few last minutes of the sleep, which are the most treasured moments before waking up. 🙂

Tell us about the harshest, most difficult to hear — but accurate — criticism you’e ever gotten. Does it still apply?
Photographers, artists, poets: show us HARSH
Hmm.. Writing that would be actually to reveal my worst habit, but any ways, wouldn’t mind doing that.
The thing which I am most criticized about is actually my way of saying things. what mean to say hear is that I am often told that, Samia, your point is fairly OK, but you have a way of expressing it which is not approved my most. I actually have a very bad habit of pulling faces about things or people I don’t like, and it comes out when I opine about them, my words are not harsh, no, nor am I wrong, but my tone, as others tell me, is too harsh too digest.
Tell us about the blog post you were most nervous to publish — and what it was like to set it free.
Photographers, artists, poets: show us FREE.
When it comes to blogging, I am more than confident, in fact over-confident. Why? because all my posts, except for the first few were written for this blog. That is why I love my blog because it nurtured my passion for writing.
When you’re away from home, what person, thing, or place do you miss the most?
Photographers, artists, poets: show us HOME.
As I have told in the previous post that I have a habit of carrying a lot stuff around in my bag, the part of home I will be missing would be that I can’t take my stuff out exclusively from my cupboards. Getting stuff out of a bag, and after a long search, is not what I would like and I would love to have my cupboard on-the-go with me, which I know is not possible.
It have always been curious about bags. Curious in the sense that I have an itch to know what is hidden in others’ bags and also in a manner that I always find all those bags extremely attractive which I do not own! the weird thing about me and my bag is that I love to put everything, and that is to say absolutely everything inside it. Once upon a time I had a habit of carrying a bag for university largest of all the bags of my class fellow which not only contained my books, water bottle and other university essentials, along with all the stupid things like lip balm, sunscreen, extra books for work and all. But that is just something most people could do. On another occasion, in college, I was required only to take a pencil case for myself, I don’t quite remember what I had in my bag at that time, but I remember a friend saying that, “Samia, if it would have been possible for you, you would carry your entire house in this bag”. Apart from the university, whenever I am asked to go even for a movie, I am bound to carry almost my entire make-up box, for no reason because I know that they do remain untouched until I touch them to place them where they belong. In short I have a very bad habit of filling my bag to bulge even when its not require. This can only come in handy when we have to go to a trip, which haven’t been since 2005.
What’s the strangest place from which you’ve posted to your blog? When was the last time you were out and about, and suddenly thought, “I need to write about this!”?
Unfortunately for me, I have never blogged from anywhere apart from my own house. I either write from the PC placed in my parents’ room, or I write from the notebook. I do not have a phone with a WI-Fi so I cannot write from somewhere else. So I am always depending on my home to blog. 😦
For many of us the seasons are changing, bouncing unpredictably between cold and warm. Are you glad to be moving into a new season, or wishing for one more week of the old?
I am extremely glad to move on to a new season. It is extremely warm here in Karachi these days, and I am glad that cool breeze is now finally around the corner. The weather these days doesn’t even allow me to walk home easily from the bus stand, and it absolutely scorches my back to walk from the department to the gate. So I will be extremely happy to have the winter season come round. In fact, sooner the better for me.
